Huifang Chen holds a Masters of Music from the University of Miami. She was a violinist in the former Florida Philharmonic, and has performed extensively as a soloist. Most recently, Huifang has performed the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Dreyfus Orchestra of Palm Beach. Mrs. Chen is on the faculty of the University of Miami Frost School of Music and the Florida Youth Orchestra. |

Christian Macelaru, a native of Romania, received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami. At 18, he was the youngest Concertmaster of the Miami Symphony, a position he held until 2002. He was also Assistant Conductor for the University of Miami Symphony Orchestra and Associate Conductor for the Florida Youth Orchestra. As well as being a violinist and conductor, he is an accomplished composer. Mr. Macelaru has recently completed a Masters of Music degree at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and currently plays with the Houston Symphony. |

Dr. Yu-Mei Huang currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Music at Texas A & M International University. Huang won first prize at the Violin Performance Competition in Taiwan when she was 15 years old. She earned her D.M.A. from the University
of Miami and recieved both undergraduate and graduate degrees in violin performance and conducting at Florida International University.
Dr. Huang will perform in Taipei, Taiwan and teach a master class in violin in late July. |

Scott O’Donnell was born in upstate New York. He began playing the violin at the age of seven, studying with Peter Marsh, the first violinist of the Lennox Quartet and Elmar Oliviera, winner of the Tschaikovsky competition. Scott attended the Manhattan School of Music where he studied with Professor Raphael Bronstein.
